Ohio Men's Golf In Sixth After Day One Of Butler Spring Invitational

Round One Results

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Ohio men's golf team is in sixth place with a total team score of 295 (+15) through one round of the Butler Spring Invitational, which was held today at Highland Golf Club.

IUPUI is in first place after combining to shoot a 278 (-2) in the opening round. Senior Nick Bienz of IUPUI leads the field after firing a 64 (-6) over the first 18 holes.

Two Bobcats are tied for 10th place after the tournament's first day of competition. Sophomore Zach Crawford (Vandalia, Ohio) and sophomore Austin Dyson (Dublin, Ohio) both posted a 72 (+2) in the first round.

Redshirt junior Michael Kenney (Kent, Ohio) shot a 75 (+5), putting him in a tie for 32nd. 

Senior Ben Sattler (Liberty Township, Ohio) is tied for 35th with a 76 (+6).

Sophomore Zach Mandry (Solon, Ohio) shot a 78 (+8) in the opening round, putting him in 47th.

The second and final round of the Butler Spring Invitational will get underway at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday (April 2).
