Ohio Men's Golf Wraps Up Day One Of Inverness Intercollegiate

TOLEDO, Ohio -- The Ohio men's golf team is in 13th place following the first two rounds of the Inverness Intercollegiate, which were played on Monday (Sept. 18) at Toledo's Inverness Club. The Bobcats combined to total a team score of 592 (+24) after rounds of 293 (+9) and 299 (+15).

St. Mary's sits in first place with a 558 (-10) after carding round scores of 280 (-4) and 278 (-6). Michigan State is currently in second with 559 (-9) thanks to round scores of 276 (-8) and 283 (-1).

For Ohio, redshirt senior Tom Nettles (McMurray, Pa.) and senior Brady Bohl (Dublin, Ohio) are both tied for 54th place with matching scores of 148 (+6). Nettles shot rounds of 73 (+2) and 75 (+4) while Bohl compiled round scores of 76 (+5) and 72 (+1).

Freshman Zach Crawford (Vandalia, Ohio) is in a tie for 62nd after shooting rounds of 74 (+3) and 75 (+4) to bring his total to 149 (+7). 

Junior Ben Sattler (Liberty Township, Ohio) shot rounds of 72 (+1) and 78 (+7) for a total of 150 (+8), putting him in a tie for 65th.

Redshirt freshman Adam Stephens (Dublin, Ohio) is tied for 69th with a 151 (+9). He totaled rounds of 74 (+3) and 77 (+6).

Michigan State sophomore Kaleb Johnson and Oklahoma State junior Nick Heinen are currently tied for the tournament lead with matching scores of 134 (-8). Johnson logged rounds of 65 (-6) and 69 (-2) while Heinen tallied round scores of 68 (-3) and 66 (-5).

A 9 a.m. ET shotgun start will be utilized for the final 18 holes of the Inverness Intercollegiate on Tuesday (Sept. 19).
