QUOTABLE
Third-year head coach Saul Phillips on the potential of his team
"I like the fact for the first time since I have been here, I’m trying to figure out how I can get guys more minutes."

Phillips on the exhibition game as a whole
"That doesn’t look like the way we are going to rotate players against Southern. I was throwing stuff at the wall just to see. It was fun. I needed to make sure everyone got a fair shake. This is the last dress rehearsal before we get going."

Junior forward Sam Frayer on the game
"I think we did really well. We really focused on contesting shots today. Coach said zero uncontested shots today going into the game. That was our goal."

Senior guard Drew Crabtree
"We were just excited to get back out there. We were happy to see our defensive efforts have gotten better and hard work during the summer went well."
