FRISCO, Texas -- The Ohio football team continued its preparation for the 2018 DXL Frisco Bowl, practicing at the Ford Center at The Star, which serves as the practice facility of the five-time Super Bowl champion Dallas Cowboys. The Bobcats (8-4) are set to compete against San Diego State (7-5) on Wednesday (Dec. 19). Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, and the contest will be nationally televised on ESPN.

OhioBobcat-TV caught up with one of the Bobcats' First All-Mid-American Conference offensive linemen -- redshirt junior left guard Joe Anderson (Terrance, Calif.) -- after practice to get his thoughts on practicing at the home of the Cowboys and the upcoming DXL Frisco Bowl.

Ohio's schedule at the 2018 DXL Frisco Bowl begins ramping up this evening. The team will attend the official 2018 DXL Frisco Bowl Dinner at Toyota Stadium this evening. On Tuesday (Dec. 18) morning, 14th-year head coach Frank Solich, redshirt senior running back A.J. Ouellette (Covington, Ohio) and senior linebacker Evan Croutch (Youngstown, Ohio) will represent the Bobcats at the pre-bowl press conference at Toyota Stadium. After the press conference, the team will practice one last time. The Bobcats are also schedued to participate in a visit to Children's Medical Center - Plano in Plano, Texas.
