His 4,344 career passing yards are the fifth-most in program history while his 39 career passing touchdowns are the second-most in program history.
College football fans can now go to the Allstate Sugar Bowl social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) to vote for what they think was the best performance from this past weekend. When voting closes on Thursday at 11 a.m. (Central), the top vote-getter will be announced as the Manning Award Quarterback of the Week.
The Manning Award was created by the Allstate Sugar Bowl in 2004 to honor the college football accomplishments of Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning. It is the only quarterback award that includes the candidates' bowl performances in its balloting. Rourke was named to the 2018 Manning Award Watch List in August.
Ohio will close out the 2018 regular season by playing host to MAC East Division rival Akron (4-6, 2-5 MAC) in a nationally televised matchup on CBS Sports Network on Friday (Nov. 23.) Kickoff of the Senior Day matchup is slated for noon at Peden Stadium. Click here for ticket information or call 1-800-575-CATS (2287).
