He is one of two student-athletes who have accounted for five MAC East Division Offensive Player of the Week honors for Ohio this season, with junior quarterback Nathan Rourke (Oakville, Ontario, Canada) earning honors in weeks five, six and eight. Ohio has also tallied five MAC East Division Special Teams Player of the Week honors, with redshirt junior wide receiver/kick returner DL Knock (Springboro, Ohio), earning honors for week one, redshirt junior punter/kicker Michael Farkas (Mishawaka, Ind.), earning honors for week three and week seven, redshirt junior kicker Louie Zervos (Tarpon Springs, Fla.) earning honors for week nine and redshirt freshman safety Alvin Floyd (North Miami Beach, Fla.) earning honors for week 10.
Ouellette rumbled for a career-high 196 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries and also caught a touchdown to help lead Ohio to a 52-17 win over MAC East Division rival Buffalo last Wednesday (Nov. 14) at Peden Stadium in Athens. Ouellette rushed for an eight-yard touchdown in the second quarter, caught an eight-yard touchdown pass from Rourke in the third and capped off the scoring for the Bobcats with a 33-yard touchdown run in the fourth. He posted his third 100-yard rushing performance of the season and 12th of his career. Ouellette has scored a career-high 10 rushing touchdowns in 2018, giving him 30 rushing touchdowns for his career and tying him with Rourke for the third-most in program history.
