ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio football team's contest at in-state foe Cincinnati this Saturday (Sept. 22) will be nationally televised on ESPNU. Mike Corey and Rene Ingoglia will be on the call. Kickoff is scheduled for noon EST at Nippert Stadium.

The Bobcats (1-1) are coming off of their first loss of the 2018 season, falling to Virginia, 45-31, on Saturday (Sept. 15) at Vanderbilt Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. The matchup at Cincinnati will mark Ohio's first true road game of the season. The contest between the Bobcats and Cavaliers was originally scheduled to played at Virginia's Scott Stadium in Charlottesvile, Va. The venue change was made due to the threat of severe weather in the Charlottesville area associated with Hurricane Florence and to provide emergency personnel with the ability to focus on the needs of the region's citizens throughout the weekend.

The Bearcats (3-0) remained unbeaten after rolling to a 63-7 victory over Alabama A&M on Saturday at Nippert Stadium.

Ohio and Cincinnati are set to square off for the 51st time but first since 1981. The all-time series is deadlocked at 23-23-4.
