ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio football alumni Dorian Brown has been invited to rookie minicamp by his hometown Pittsburgh Steelers which was announced Sunday.
Brown is now the third Bobcats player to get his shot in the NFL this season following the drafting of Quentin Poling and the free agent signing of Troy Mangen.
Brown played in 12 games last season for Ohio, racking up 757 yards and 11 touchdowns. Brown had a season-high 152 yards and four touchdowns against UAB in the Bahamas Bowl. He set Bahamas Bowl records in rushing average and touchdowns while being named Offensive Player of the Game.
Brown rushed for 100 yards three times during his senior campaign with 108 against Kent State and 148 against Toledo to go along with his total at the Bahamas Bowl.
