The Ohio baseball team placed eight student-athletes on the 2018 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team -- redshirt senior right-handed pitcher Cory Blessing (Mayfield, Ohio), senior infielder Tony Giannini (Carmel, Ind.), redshirt junior right-handed pitcher Nick Kamrada (Grand Ledge, Mich.), redshirt senior designated hitter/right-handed pitcher Michael Klein (Highlands Ranch, Colo.), redshirt freshman catcher Dan McCauley (Pittsburgh, Pa.), redshirt senior right-handed pitcher Jake Roehn (Sandwich, Ill.), junior infielder Rudy Rott(Holmen, Wis.) and redshirt senior left-handed pitcher Gerry Salisbury (Brunswick, Ohio) -- as announced by the league office on Thursday (June 14).
