Ohio Baseball's Game At High Point Canceled

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The Ohio baseball team's Tuesday (March 13) game at High Point has been canceled due to inclement weather in the Carolinas and poor field conditions. There is no make-up date at this time.

The Bobcats (9-6) have won five of their last six games and are coming off of both their first series victory and first series sweep of the 2018 season as Ohio took all three games from host Towson at Schuerholz Park in Towson, Md., last weekend. Ohio took the series opener from the Tigers last Friday (March 9), 5-2, then hung on for a 10-9 win that clinched the series on Saturday (March 10). The Bobcats then roared back from a 7-0 deficit to top Towson, 9-8, in the Sunday (March 11) series finale.

Ohio is scheduled to play a three-game series at USC Upstate this weekend in Spartanburg, S.C. The series opener is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET on Friday (March 16). Game two is slated for 2 p.m. ET on Saturday (March 17). The Sunday (March 17) series finale is set for get underway at 1 p.m. ET.
