ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio baseball program will be conducting its annual walk-on tryout meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 6 p.m. ET at Bob Wren Stadium -- home of the Bobcat baseball team.
All students interested in the tryout for the 2016 squad must be present at this informative gathering in order to be considered for the open tryout, which will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. ET.
The following are important items that must be presented at the meeting on Aug. 30:
- Pen/pencil to fill out forms
- All participants must bring a copy of an updated physical (completed within the last six months) to the meeting. You must present a current physical, or you will not be allowed to go thru the workout
- Proof that you are currently enrolled in 12 Fall semester hours. If you are not a full-time student, you are not eligible to try out, per NCAA rules
- Proof that you are a current student at Ohio University – Athens campus
Tryout participants are asked to bring/wear baseball equipment and attire.
