Week's Achievements: Senior infielder Rudy Rott (Holmen, Wis.) helped the Ohio baseball team (13-24, 8-7 MAC) go 3-1 last week – including recording a three-game road sweep of its Mid-American Conference series at Eastern Michigan. For the week, Rott hit .375 with a .625 slugging percentage and a .474 on-base percentage and tallied a double, a home run, three walks, an RBI and four runs scored. In the series opener against Eastern Michigan on Friday (April 19), he went 3-for-5 with a double as the Bobcats defeated the Eagles, 6-1. In game one of the Sunday (April 21) doubleheader, he finished 2-for-3 with two walks and two runs scored as Ohio clinched the series with an 8-2 triumph over Eastern Michigan. Rott finished off the weekend by smashing his team-leading eighth home run of the year as the Bobcats completed the sweep of the Eagles with a 6-3 win.
